Spoken Chinese Courses
This course focuses on training students’ listening and speaking ability and improving their conversation skills in daily and social life in China. This course has four deferent levels. Each level has 20 hours of class time. Students can choose the level that is right for them depending on their Chinese proficiency.

Description:
- 1 class hour free trial lesson is available
- Tuition fee includes the cost of textbooks
- Free Chinese level test before the start of the class
- Feedback from students and teachers will be collected periodically to help improve lessons
- At the end of the training program, students will take a final exam and an effectiveness evaluation for the program to assess student’s ability

Level Description:
Level 1
Target Student: Beginners
After this course, students will have a basic understanding of Chinese. This includes:
- An introduction to Chinese pronunciation, tones, and rhythm
- Being familiar with the pinyin system
- Being able to carry on a simple life conversation, such as saying hello, making introduction, asking for directions, saying goodbye and so on
Level 2
Target Student: Graduate of level 1 or a beginner with a basic understanding of Chinese
Through this course, students will:
- Further grasp basic pronunciation and become more familiar with pinyin
- Be able to carry on a basic conversation with a native speaker
- Be able to express ideas and describe situations
Level 3
Target Student: Graduate of level 2 or students who can easily carry on basic conversations
After studying at this level, students will:
- Be able to participate in more advanced-topic conversations
- Be able to express more complex ideas and express oneself in a more clear, accurate, and appropriate way
- Be able to discuss general topics
- Carry on simple negotiations and business talks
- Be able to use complex sentences and grammar
Level 4
Target Student: Graduate of level 3 or have students have little trouble communicating in Chinese
After this course, students will be able to:
- Fully understand and participate in everyday conversations
- Express oneself more fluently and in an organized way
- Speak with more accurate pronunciation and tone
