Here we have a student generated list of recommendations for places to check out when you want a meal or night out. We still encourage our students to explore Yangshuo’s wide variety of options, but here are some past favorites to get you started.
Restaurants
Western
Alley Bar
Food: burgers, pizza, pasta, steak, sandwiches, and bar snacks. (RMB 20-70)
Drink: great international beer selection, hard liquor, and local drinks(RMB 10-60)
Other: table-football, outdoor seating, and big-screen TV
Kelly's Café
Food: western style breakfast (bacon, eggs, toast, pancakes, etc.), sandwiches, pasta, pizza, and a vast variety of Chinese food(RMB 10-60)
Drink: coffee, tea, fresh juice, soda, and alcoholic beverages (RMB 10-60)
Other: 2 floors, outdoor seating, Wi-Fi
Minority Café

Claypot
Food: traditional claypot-style dish (choice of meats and vegetables served over a cooked clay pot of rice), noodles, fried rice, and a variety of local dishes(RMB 10-20)

Food: very extensive variety of quality traditional Chinese and local food (RMB 30-70)

Gan's Noodles
Food: wide variety of noodles, soups, fried rice, dumplings (RMB 5-10), and an additional menu of local favorites (RMB 10-30)

Typically most bars will have a the cheap local liquor and beer (RMB 10-15) as well as standard international brands of beer and liquor (RMB 15-50+)
