On August 29th, we had a calligraphy lesson. We learnt the “永” character which means forever in Chinese.
It is said that if you could write all eight strokes in this character well you could easily write Chinese calligraphy well. And today we are going to learn the eight rules of writing “永”character.
Before we write, we need to know the scholar’s four jewels in Chinese Calligraphy which include brushpen, Xuan paper, ink and inkstone.
Becky is telling the key point of writing the character.
Becky is demonstrating how to write one of the stroke properly.
Practice makes perfect. Everyone looks earnest.
The first try is not bad. Everyone is talented.
Ok, in the end, we take a picture together.
