Cutural lesson-singing Chinese song
Teresa Teng, she was the most famous singer in China. She held her first solo concert in the US and Canada. Teresa also studied English in UCLA (University of California at Los Angeles) in California, USA. In 1983, Teresa became the first Chinese to ever perform at Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas, USA. Her song "TOKI NO NAGARE NI MI WO MAKASE" sold over 5 million copies in the Japan market in 1986.
Unfortunately, she left us on May 8, 1995 due to an asthma attack in Chiang Mai, Thailand at age 42. Her coffin was wrapped with the Taiwan flag and was carried by military officers and family members. Indeed, during the funeral, Teresa was given many awards for her large contribution to the nation and society.
So on July 18, 2012, we learn her famous song “the moon represents my heart”. Although on that day we did’t have power in the activity room and it was heavy rain, we still enjoyed our class.

Magic showed us how to sing this song, and we just follow her voice. This song was easy to sing. We knew how sing it after several times.
Later we tried to sing this song by ourselves. We were very happy to sing a Chinese song. Maybe one day we can sing this song to our friends and lovers! How romantic!
