Saturday trip-Zhuge Liang Cultural Festival in Putao county
Guangxi Yangshuo county is one of the main settlements of the descendants of Zhu Geliang. There are 38 villages inhabited by more than 5000 descendants of Zhu Geliang in Putao town. 14.8% of the population of the town was in Cui Ping, Zhuge Village. We attended a Zhuge Liang cultural festival in Putao county last weekend.

Kongming interlocked was created by Zhuge Liang with the inspiration from the famous carpainter, Lu Ban. It’s widely used in Chinese architectures.
Zhuge Liang was one of the greatest military strategists of the Three Kingdoms and over the centuries, he has been considered the most popular general in Chinese history.
He was known as The Hidden Dragon due to the fact that people did not notice his talent because of his quietness. He was orphaned at a young age and was living alone in the country when Liu Bei heard of his great wisdom. Zhuge Liang became Liu Bei's military advisor and together they founded the Shu Han kingdom. Zhuge Liang died at the age of 54 during a military campaign. Even his enemies had admired his great talent and devotion to his country.
