Saturday Activity- Hiking the Li River from Yangdi to Xingping
Last weekend, Omeida students and staff made the most of the beautiful autumn weather by hiking along the Li River and through the countryside of Yangdi to Xingping and enjoy one of the most beautiful areas in Yangshuo. It was a great day!
A beautiful day begins with a great jump. Everyone enjoys the sunshine on such a peaceful morning.
Starting in a village close to Yangdi we hiked along the stone path, and have been to a beautiful small farm courtyard for lunch.
Along the way, the scenery was charming. Sarah took selfies while walking every now and then.
We crossed mountains and rivers.
We then continued along the river and crossed at the famous Nine Horses Frescoe Hill 九马画山 . It is said that anyone who can see the nine horses on the mountain has the highest level of intelligence. After crossing the river we then hiked through villages past the 20Yuan note scenic spot before arriving in Xingping.
