Chongqing hot pot
After the brief introduction of Chongqing hot pot, we stared to enjoy the delicious food. Although it is very spicy, everyone does really enjoy the feeling.

Nowadays, as a matter of fact, Chongqing hot pot is can be found at every corner of Chongqing city, but also is famous and popular all over the country.
Hot pot is the most famous and favorite dish in Chongqing. Chongqing hot pot symbolizes unite and sharing with others when people sit together around a small pot. It was first eaten by poor boatmen of the Yangtze River in Chongqing area and then spread westwards to the rest of Sichuan Province.
This week we tried our hand at Chinese hotpot during our cultural lesson. It was so delicious (and spicy!) Did you know there is hotpot all over the world? Thank you Astrid for introducing us to this wonderful food!
