A Trip to Xingping Ancient Town
Though it was a light rainy day, we still went for a Saturday trip to Xingping ancient town. Once we arrived at Xingping from Yangshuo, we walked around the ancient street and followed a crowed people to the pier. Our purpose is to climb Xingping Laozhai Mountain where is very close to the pier.
The first stop we made was at a hillside pavilion when it seemed to rain.
No one of us wants to give it up and all we want to make it to the top for the landscape of Xingping. Keep it up by encouraged by the local who were offering sacrifices to their ancestors during the Tomb sweeping days.
Gradually we headed up to the mountain, it rained heavier. The clouds moved close to us. It looked like we were in a fairyland.
We finished the descent of the mountain and walked along Li River. Lucky it stopped rain. But everyone seemed very hungry, because the lunch time was here.
