A trip to Shi Wai Tao Yuan
On Saturday 9th July 2011,the students of Omeida Chinese and English Academy had a very good trip to Yangshuo’s‘shi wai tao yuan‘.
‘Shi wai tao yuan’ is a Chinese idiom meaning a place that is really beautiful, quiet and forgotten by everybody. There are many places so called in China, but many people say the one in Yangshuo, Guilin is the most beautiful one.We enjoyed in the beautiful scenery, came to understand the Dong and Zhuang Minorities’ magical characteristics,appreciated Chinese traditional printing and papermaking.
‘Shi wai tao yuan’is an amazing place, is really the forgotten homeland for all people.
The Dong people are playing the traditional instruments of their minority group.
We are on the boat , and the Wind-Rain Bridge is in front of us.
Will our boat pass through that hole? How exciting!
