Singing Competition
Thursday 14th July 2011, there was a singing competition held in Omeida College, in which most of the teachers and students took part and had a good time.
The song sung by the students of the Chinese Department was ''Tao Hua Duo Duo Kai''(which means:peach flowers are blossoming).It's really a happy song, so when we were singing, all the audience clapped along the rhythm.At the end of the competition, we were awarded the second prize.
Joshua is a foreign student of Omeida Chinese Academy, he had a solo in the competition. His voice is nice and full of emotion,and his pronunciation of Chinese is also exact, so he came first as an individual entrant.Congratulations to him!
What a rewarding day last Thursday was!
