There was a calligraphy lesson on April 25th, 2012. We were going to write the “善”which meant good and nice for describing a person in Chinese. Chinese people like to write “上善若水,水善利万物而不争” in Chinese calligraphy. it means The top class of virtue is like water, which benefits ten thousand objects without any demands for return.
First, our teacher Becky showed us two different fonts, one is in Kaishu, one is the seal character.
And later, all the students tried to write the character in Chinese one stroke by one stroke.
See, Rainer and Matt were so serious and Becky was so patient.
You looked so happy in this class!
Show your calligraphy to us!
And hope everyone can get the highest excellence “善”.
