Cultural class-Chinese chopsticks.
The cultural class for this week was given on Chinese chopsticks. We have learned that the chopsticks are the main implements to be found on the Chinese dinner table. It symbolizes the ancient and centuries-old Chinese culture containing the five thousand-year history of Chinese ethnic people.
Chopsticks were called "zhu" in ancient times. It may be made of any of the following materials: bamboo wood, gold, silver, ivory or plastic, and they may be either round or square. Some chopsticks are engraved or decorated with colored pictures or calligraphy.

One theory for choosing chopsticks is that as an agricultural society, they rely on
