"A Bite of China" is a Chinese record channel launched the first high-end food series documentary, and is the first use of HD equipment to shoot the large food documentary. Cultural class for this week was given on Chinese food. We watched the documentary “A bite of China” and learned a lot about Chinese cooking skills, the formation of extensive and profound culture in Chinese food.
According to the episode 2, it distinguished among the staple foods in different areas of China.More than 1,000 years ago, China was divided by the Qinling Mountains and Huaihe River in terms of the rural pattern: rice in the south and wheat in the north. Therefore, people in the south get used to eating rice and those in the north cannot live without wheaten food.
