Cycling to Fuli Ancient Town
Last Saturday, we visited to Fuli Ancient Town which is located at the east part of Yangshuo County, 8 km from the downtown, at the north riverbank of Li River. The water and land transportation is very convenient there.
In Fuli Town the main scenic spots are the Scenery of Ancient Town. In recent years, local people have made good use of their cultural heritage.
Oil Tea Culture: the oil tea is a local tea also very famous there within peanut, fried rice, green onion and so on.
After have a oil tea drink, we have gone round the market at Fuli.
Painting Fan Culture: the painting fan there has a long history. The town also is reputed as “the Home Town of Chinese Painting Fan”. Many families in Fuli could paint, even little kids can paint fans. There are lots of farmers painters.
When we went down to the Ancient Town, we have met our Chinese teacher Becky who was painting in a painting studio.
We have cycled to Fuli along the main road and gone back from another way after crossed Li River by the ferry boat.
