Culture Class-Chinese tea 茶(chá)
Chinese tea culture refers to the methods of preparation of tea, the equipment used to make tea and the occasions in which tea is consumed in China.
Our culture lesson this Tuesday was to know some kind of tea in China. We went to a tea house-Guofu Tea House in Yangshuo. Hansi, the owner of the tea house told us something like the history, the variety about Chinese tea and how to make green tea and black tea.
Tea culture is a practice of continuous improvement for making tea, appreciating tea, smelling tea, drinking tea and tasting tea. This practice has gradually developed into a generally accepted principle and hence formed a cultural phenomenon within Chinese culture.
