Tug-of-war2016/04/20
And finally, our team won the competition.
We started the Tug of War after a game”Paper, scissors, rock”.
We made Alex being our team leader.
The sport of tug-of-war has a very long history. Artwork in a 4000-year-old tomb in Sakkara, Egypt depicts teams of 3 young men pitted against each other in the ropeless version of tug-of-war.
Also known as tug o' war, tug war, rope war, Rope pulling, or tugging war, tug-of-war is a sport，That directly pits two teams against each other in a test of strength.
Recently, there were a lot of activities at Omeida. Last week, a Tug of War was held on the ground in front of Omeida English College. All classes have formed their teams to participate the competition. We had teacher team, staff team and student team.
