We went to Zhuge Liang Culture Festival
Once a year, people from near by Yangshuo will hold the Zhuge Liang culture festival. And all Zhuge families will get together to the village which is located in Putao town 30KM away from Yangshuo. Zhuge is a quite frenquently used surname in China.
In Chinese history there was a famous statesman, diplomatist, strategist, calligrapher and astronomer. His name is Zhuge Liang. Zhuge Liang was one of the greatest military strategists of the Three Kingdoms and over the centuries, he has been considered the most popular general in Chinese history. He was known as The Hidden Dragon due to the fact that people did not notice his talent because of his quietness. He was orphaned at a young age and was living alone in the country when Liu Bei heard of his great wisdom. Zhuge Liang became Liu Bei's military advisor and together they founded the Shu Han kingdom. Zhuge Liang died at the age of 54 during a military campaign. Even his enemies had admired his great talent and devotion to his country.
We were guided by our friendly tour guide- Mr. Donald Duck, and went through villages.

An old lady is washing in the village river which passes through villages. Actually people used to build their houses and villages along rivers and mountains.
When we went into the Zhuge village, Fran was aounded by kids talking to them in Chinese. They were so excited to see and talk to foreigners.
Our Chinese Teacher Zhuge is introducing the history about Zhuge Liang and Zhuge family to people coming for the culture festival.
It's said that anyone who sits in the pavilion will be passing all the eaxms and ranked the first palce. Everyone has a try to sit in.

Seen from the top of the mountain, evrything is so pretty. A snaky river goes through villages. People live alongside hills and their houses are surrounded by green trees.
