Chinese Tea Culture

We continue our experience study on Chinese tea culture this month. On September 5th, we have already learned the history of tea and enjoyed cups of soothing red tea, of black tea as well. Today we are going deeper into different genres of tea, and finding which kind of tea suits you best.

To begin with, the shopkeeper showed us Pu'er tea, which is a variety of fermented dark tea produced in Yunnan province.

Then, here came out Tieguanyin, which is a premium variety of Chinese oolong tea originated in the 19th century in Anxi in Fujian province.

In the end, we tasted green tea on the left and black tea on the right.
